As
you know, the Birdville Rodeo Team will be hosting two shows this year.
One will be the week before Valentines Day (our original date) and the
other the week after Valentines Day (due to North Lamar turning in
their show).
We have a few things planned for both dates.
For our first show the week before Valentines Day we will be offering
some fun for everyone! This weekend we will offer a lot of exciting
things in our silent auction for that special someone in your life, or
just for that special "YOU"!!!! There will be items for the young and
young at heart as well!
We will also have a photo area set up for you and your sweetie or you
and your crazy friends to catch a special photo opportunity! Pictures
will be taken in the NTHSRA Building for a minimal fee of $6.00 per
picture. We'll supply the backdrop, you provide that winning smile!
Oh--and men, we didn't forget you! We will be raffling off a
welder/generator. The drawing will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2007
before Poles. The welder/generator will be there all weekend to tempt
you! Raffle tickets are $5.00 each or $20.00 for 6 tickets. You need
not be present to win. (Hey ladies this could make a great Valentines
Day gift!)
During our second rodeo on the weekend of February 16-18, 2007 we are
asking for your help. As many of you know, NTHSRA Public Relations
Committee is in the process of making a promotional video about North
Texas. We are asking for your help in filling the stands. We would like
to record our crowd for this video. But our biggest challenge has been
our Grand Entry. We are asking for your help in creating the biggest
Grand Entry ever! We are asking all NTHSRA members who are able to
please come and join us while we video a Grand Entry for promotional
use! This would be a great time for all your Queens and Sweethearts to
shine! The Public Relations Committee would like to see a Grand Entry
that meets itself coming and going.
